Early stage enterprises can often fail to: 1) match their level of resource to their revenues, and 2) effectively manage their cash burn. Sales cycles are often longer than expected and a high level of cash burn can often leave enterprises, with great potential, no room to move.
Bean Partner’s methodology involves supporting the entrepreneur with a cost effective and capable outsourced team to quickly grow revenues so they can both support and justify dedicated in-house resources. As revenues grow the outsourced team is replaced and supplemented by dedicated in-house resources. Outsourced resources, that have developed a high level of knowledge and skill in relation to the client company, are often retained to undertake specific expansion projects, as revenues grow further.
Once revenues are growing on a monthly basis subsequent expansion is funded with traditional mixes of debt and equity on the basis of a step change in company value. This further expansion resource is used to drive revenues to levels where the predetermined exit goals can be considered and attained.
