Series B
Impact of Process: Series B fund raising with highly strategic investors with global reach secured. Minority investor exit secured.
Narrative: When the owners of WCG approached Bean Partners for support it had good technology but limited market traction. The Bean Partners Data and Intelligence services identified the USA as the most adoptive and largest market, supporting initial market entry.
Following the establishment of market traction, Bean Partners ran a global process for investment, identifying global technology investor, Emerald Technology Ventures, as lead followed by a highly strategic co-investor in Ecolab, one of the world’s largest water treatment businesses.
Jim Hunter, CEO, Water and Carbon Group: "Bean Partners ran a global process to match up to the right investors and we are very happy with the outcome that has been achieved."
